Jeene ke liye jeene ki chah chahiye

Manzil tak pahunchne ki raah chahiye

Waise to bahut beparwah hoon main

Beparwahi ke liye kisi ki parwah chahiye

Khali mera ghar hai, khali har umang hai

Rang bharne ke liye rangon ki syahi chahiye

Dil mein ek toofaan hai, gubaar bezubaan hai

Barasne ke liye ek aah chahiye

Swarg kya hai, kahan hai, koi path nahi

Mehsoos karne ke liye bas ek ehsaas chahiye

Bhookh, pyaas aur neend jab poori ho

Sirf roti, kapda aur makaan chahiye

Jeene ke liye jeene ki chah chahiye

To Live, one must first desire to live

To live, one must first desire to live

To reach a destination, a path is needed

I may seem careless about everything

Yet even carefreeness needs someone who cares

My home stands empty, every hope feels hollow

To fill it with color, ink rich with hues is needed

A storm rages in my heart, my anguish has no voice

To finally pour down, even thunder needs a cry

What heaven is, or where it lies, I do not know

To experience it, all one needs is a feeling

When hunger, thirst, and sleep are satisfied

Only food, clothing, and shelter are needed

To live, one must first desire to live

To reach a destination, a path is needed
