A strange love!

A strange love!

Yesterday, I saw a movie, Dr. Strange in the multiverse of madness.'

It showed a different aspect of a mother's love and a very unique thought about the multiverse and parallel universes.

It is the story about Scarlet witch, a mother and her love for her 2 sons. She dreamt of their love every night and woke up in the morning to find none of her sons around. And she saw them in another multiverse in her dreams.

Apparently, several of her versions existed in several universes.

Her love for her sons was so strong that she went all the way to attain the highest powers, sorcery, witchcraft and she even attained the power to penetrate people's minds and make them do what she wanted them to do. In her pursuit to be together with her sons, she was willing to give as many sacrifices as needed and killed everyone who came in her way and almost destroyed the several universes and nearly destroyed the entire multiverse.

They had depicted the other side of love in this movie.

While her love for her sons was very pure and all she wanted to do was to be there with her sons, she didn't realize that her sons wanted their own mother from their universe and they did not want any other version of their mothers from any other universe, especially not if that other version harmed their real mother.

It was only when America Chavez, (who she wanted to kill and take her powers to teleport herself to the universe of her choice) used her willpower and became strong enough to control her own powers and send the Scarlet witch to the universe where her 2 sons were living happily with their mother, who was another version of her in that universe, and revealed her true self to her sons who saw the witch harming their real mother, and hated her for it, that she understood how cruel was her love.

Love is such a pure emotion. But when it is in blinding excess that it fails to tell the right from the wrong, it becomes an addiction. When it becomes ready to harm other people or snatch their happiness, it becomes a vice.

Sun is warm and beautiful only as long as the earth rotates around it at a certain distance.

If the sun develops more love for earth and pulls earth towards itself, no matter how much it would love earth, it's the earth that will get burnt and all her produce will end forever.

If the sun wants to see it's solar system prosperous, the sun would need to let them rotate at a distance and not use it's power to pull the planets closer so they burn.

A true love cannot destroy other loves.

Only a selfish love can. Is selfish love even love? Apparently, in the movie the love for the two sons was pure. The Scarlet witch wanted to live with her sons and raise them. She did not want them to ever know what she would have done to their real mother.

Would that love even be called love? 

Love doesn't seek power to attain the beloved. The use of dark arts, black magic, sorcery and hypnosis that the Scarlet witch used to get what she wanted could never be an act of love.

Instead, this was cruelty.

Is this type of love equal to cruelty?

When love becomes cruel to other people who are in the way of it's wants, it becomes cruelty.

And cruelty is not love regardless of who is it from.

Love loves, love lives and love lets others love and live.
